Wonder
Created over the course of two weeks, Wonder presents historical theories about the universe and space with a sense of whimsy, simplicity, and curiosity. The process was both challenging and rewarding, balancing limited time with a strong desire to design something thoughtful and engaging. I focused on clean layouts and restrained visuals to give the text room to breathe, allowing readers to think deeply without distraction. A minimal color palette reinforced this calm, reflective tone. After experimenting with multiple printing and binding methods, I ultimately developed a custom hybrid binding between perfect binding and accordion fold, which gave the book both structure and fluidity. The finished piece captures the essence of exploration, both in subject and in design.
